Zumba Toning Stick

A Zumba Toning Stick is a device used to enhance the fast-growing dance-fitness craze of the 21st century. Individuals young and old are addicted to Zumba due to its user-friendly moves, infectious music, and proven health and fitness benefits.

Zumba Toning is one of several new variations of the classic Zumba workout. Incorporated in the exercise routine are soft lightweight dumbbells (typically between one and three pounds) called toning sticks, which are filled with sand. In addition to their resistance training and strengthening benefits, Zumba toning sticks are easy to hold and fun to shake to the rhythm of the Latin-inspired dance moves and international music beats. The classes feature several minutes of cardio work interspersed with strength training. Regular weights can also be used in a Zumba Toning class, however the hard metal is more limiting.
