By balancing the mind and body, Bach flower remedies lead to greater peace of mind and wellness, facilitating the body to heal itself.

Bach Flower Remedy Compositions

Bach flower remedies are compositions of brandy and water, where the water contains highly diluted extracts of various flowers. Dr. Blach divided his 38 Bach flower remedies into the following seven groups, each of which represents a different emotional state treated by Bach flower therapy:

  1. Fear
  2. Uncertainty
  3. Lack of Interest in Present Circumstances
  4. Loneliness
  5. Oversensitivity
  6. Despondency/Despair
  7. Over-Caring

While some Bach flower remedies are used singly, they are most often prescribed in combinations – for example, a mixture of 5-8 Bach flower remedies – for maximum effectiveness.

Bach Flower Remedy Combinations

To make a Bach flower remedy combination, use a glass dropper bottle to place two drops of each remedy into a treatment bottle. Then, place the dosage recommended – usually 2-4 drops of the mixture – into a glass of water and sip throughout the day. You can also add the remedy to juice or even a cup of tea. Some people ingest their Bach flower remedy directly however this method is not necessary and much less economical. To preserve your remedy, add one teaspoon of brandy or cider vinegar to your treatment bottle.
